About the Foundation

Built on the belief that AI safety is a public good.

Who is Kriv AI Foundation, and what does it do?

Kriv AI Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit strengthening communities through responsible AI governance, providing free resources, independent research, and community programs for organizations in regulated industries.

A grand civic building with tall columns

The problem

AI is affecting communities faster than it can be governed.

Organizations serving communities in financial services, government, and other regulated industries are adopting AI for high-stakes decisions, from loan approvals to benefits administration to automated assessments, without safeguards to ensure these systems are safe, fair, and compliant.

This isn't a technology problem. It's a safety gap. The AI exists. The regulations are coming. What's missing are the practical resources, the guides, policies, and expertise, to protect the people these organizations serve.

No standard governance frameworks

The NIST AI RMF exists in theory, but most organizations lack a practical adoption guide for their industry.

A fragmented regulatory landscape

EU AI Act, state-level bills, SOX, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations are multiplying faster than organizations can track them.

Governance expertise doesn't exist at scale

AI governance sits at the intersection of legal, ethical, and organizational domains. The talent pool barely exists.
